Terms of Service

The plain-language deal.

These are the terms for using OptimizeMyLife and Félix. We’ve kept them honest and readable — no fine-print traps. Please read them; using the service means you agree to them.

1. Who we are

OptimizeMyLife is operated by 9569-7173 Québec inc., doing business as OptimizeMyLife (“we”, “us”, “our”). Our registered address is 780 chemin du lac Brompton, Orford, Québec, J1X 6L7, Canada. You can reach us any time at support@optimizemylife.ai. By creating an account, activating a key, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

2. What the service is

OptimizeMyLife gives you Félix, an AI companion and personal assistant you talk to through chat. Some plans and add-ons — which we call powers — extend what Félix can do for you. Availability of specific powers is described where you buy them; we only offer what actually works today. The service is delivered as software you access over the web and connected apps.

3. Early preview

Félix is offered as an early preview. That means the service is still evolving: features may change, be added, or be removed, and Félix can occasionally be wrong, unavailable, or incomplete. We build in the open and improve quickly, but you should not rely on the service for anything where a mistake would be costly without checking it yourself.

4. Not professional advice

Félix is not a doctor, lawyer, accountant, therapist, or licensed financial advisor, and nothing he says is professional medical, legal, or financial advice. For decisions that matter to your health, money, or legal situation, consult a qualified professional. You are responsible for how you act on anything Félix tells you.

5. Who can use it

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction to hold your own account and pay for the service. Content for kids and teens is designed to be parent-mediated: we do not create accounts for children, and Félix’s assistant and installer powers are not available to minors. If you set up the service for a minor, you do so as the responsible adult.

6. Your key and your account

Your access is tied to a FOX key. Anyone holding your FOX key can reach your account and your conversations with Félix, so treat it like a password: keep it private, and don’t share it with anyone you don’t trust. You’re responsible for activity under your key. Tell us right away at support@optimizemylife.ai if you think it has been exposed.

7. Subscriptions, billing & renewal

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly unless stated otherwise at checkout) and renew automaticallyat the then-current price until you cancel. Prices are shown at purchase; if we change a plan’s price, the change applies to your next renewal, not the term you already paid for. One-time powers are charged once. Payments are processed by our payment providers (see the Privacy Policy); we don’t store your full card details ourselves.

8. Cancellation

You can cancel any time from your account or by writing to support@optimizemylife.ai. Cancellation stops the next renewal — you keep access through the end of the period you’ve already paid for. We don’t lock you in with cancellation fees.

9. Refunds

If OptimizeMyLife isn’t right for you, write to support@optimizemylife.ai within 14 daysof a charge and we’ll refund that charge pro-rated to the usage you actually consumed — you pay only for what you used, and the rest comes back. One-time powers that have already been used are non-refundable. Where local consumer-protection law gives you stronger rights, those rights apply.

10. Acceptable use

Please use Félix lawfully. Don’t use the service to break the law, harm others, infringe someone’s rights, send spam or malware, try to break or overload our systems, resell access, or misrepresent Félix’s output as human-verified professional advice. We may suspend or end access that puts the service or other people at risk.

11. Your content

What you tell Félix stays yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to run the service — to process your messages, remember what helps Félix assist you, and pass your words to the AI engines that generate his replies. How we handle all of this, and the third parties involved, is described in our Privacy Policy. You can erase your data at any time.

12. The service “as is”

We work hard to keep Félix useful and available, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OptimizeMyLife and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three monthsbefore the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited under applicable law.

14. Changes to these Terms

As the product grows, we may update these Terms. If we make a material change, we’ll update the date below and, where appropriate, let you know. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Québec have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply where you live.
